As Chief Executive, Chris led the management buyout team in September 2007 in purchasing the Killby & Gayford Group. He joined Killby & Gayford Limited in 1994 as Managing Director (Designate) and became Managing Director in October 1995.
Chris is a technically qualified, highly experienced, versatile surveyor trained, construction executive who adopts a competitive and positive approach to business. As Chief Executive of Killby & Gayford Group Limited as well as Killby & Gayford Limited, the Group trading arm, he oversees all construction operations; promoting Company profit and turnover growth through the development of the Company’s client base via his expertise and natural interest in ‘the market place’. He is personally responsible for driving the implementation of Health & Safety, Training and Operational Procedures across the Company.
Currently he is Chair of the UK Contractors Group Training Committee which reports into the policy boards and CEO group. He is also a Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Joiners and Ceilers where he is a member of the Craft Committee promoting joinery excellence
