The key for me is the commitment to deliver member services wherever CIOB is active. In particular, to meet CIOB member requirements and the development of CIOB worldwide as well as in the UK.
As past Branch Chair for Scotland, and before that, Chair for the East of Scotland Centre, I feel that I was known for keeping member services at the forefront of everything that we as a group did. We changed CPD events to listen to more of the members’ requirements; as well as promoting the CIOB politically, and within the industry; and with the executive and staff support from Englemere we supplemented the training available for people to become members.
If elected as a Trustee, I will use this opportunity to ensure that the needs of CIOB members continue to be the focus for the CIOB’s future.
