Gill Trodden FCIOB

Qualified as a Chartered Builder and Health & Safety Professional, Gill Trodden is the Director of Constructive Education, working with several associates. 

CE is in contract with major construction and civil engineering contractors as well as universities and charitable trusts, to design and deliver research, training and assessment for the construction industry.  Projects include linking skills needs to education and training, supporting under represented candidates aspiring to join the industry and developing vocational qualifications for overseas candidates. 

Prior to developing her own business, Gill worked at senior level in higher education for 15 years.

Under her leadership, as the current chair of the London Branch of the Chartered Institute of Building, a major initiative is underway to engage with young professionals working in the construction industry in order to enhance the events and support that the Professional Body offers its members in the London region.

Communication is critical to her role now, as it has been in the past.  She seeks clear and effective ways to listen to others as well as to deliver messages and work towards objectives, with timely reporting as appropriate to the recipients and herself.  She has established a successful business that thrives on this premise.
