Proposed amendment to the Reporting of Injuries, Diseases and Dangerous Occurrences Regulations 1995 (RIDDOR) - The CIOB considers the proposed change from 3 to 7 day reporting to be a retrograde step. It severely undermines the culture of good health and safety theory and practice at a time when annual fatalities in the construction sector have risen to their highest levels for four years.
