Project Co-ordinator (PC00178)

The Project Co-ordinator role is a one year fixed term opportunity supporting the CIOB's Management of Time on Construction Projects Working Group with the implementation of the recommendations from the recent report, ‘Managing the Risk of Delayed Completion in the 21st Century’ (Click this link to go to the report page).

This output will focus on three key areas, supporting the working group to develop:

  • standards and a code of practice for managing time on construction projects
  • education and training for project planners and programmers
  • awareness to industry, clients and professionals of management of best practice and the importance of effective time management

The successful candidates will be able to demonstrate:

  • excellent interpersonal skills
  • well developed ability to plan and organise to tight deadlines
  • experience of the principles and practice of research
  • skills in writing, copywriting and proof-reading

Technically competent with all MS office products and particular strength in analysis of both qualitative and quantitative information, as well as understanding of the built environment and project control issues would be advantageous.
