CIOB response to the Department for Education on the Implementation of the 2010-11 Review of Education Capital (The James Review)

Publisher:
CIOB
Short Summary:

CIOB's response to the James Review consultation. Essentially, CIOB believes that there are benefits and efficiencies to be gained in building and capital maintenance from using national expertise, national procurement frameworks, a standard contract with suppliers and national project management. The reality is that in the current financial climate both the client and contractor need to ensure that they are seeking and working towards best options in terms of customer and end users requirements and Value For Money.
