CIOB Education Department seeks Construction Professionals for Qualifications Development and Review

CIOB Awarding Organisation

The CIOB suite of qualifications and CIOB joint agreements with key awarding organisations, enable individuals to develop a career in the built environment with a recognised route into CIOB membership. Programmes include: Site Supervision, Site Management, Construction Contracting and Housing Maintenance Management. All awards are recognised and regulated in the UK and are delivered throughout the UK and Ireland.
 

Recognition of Excellence

The CIOB has an accreditation process which establishes the standards and requirements for Universities and Teaching Institutes seeking CIOB accreditation of their qualifications.
 

CIOB Education Framework

The achievement of professionalism at all levels within the construction industry is at the core of CIOB work. In establishing the criteria for membership of the CIOB, the Institute has developed a framework of educational requirements designed to reflect industry needs and provision.

The Ofqual Register of Regulated Qualifications

The Ofqual Register of Regulated Qualifications contains details of Recognised Awarding Organisations and Regulated Qualifications in England (Ofqual), Wales (DCELLS) and Northern Ireland (Ofqual for vocational qualifications and CCEA for all other qualifications).
