S/NVQ Courses
The First Choice for NVQs
NVQs are the most well known job specific vocational qualification, providing work based training. These show you have the skills, knowledge and understanding needed for a particular occupation.
On achievement of a NVQ, you may gain a CSCS card which is proof of competence by industry organisation, employers, clients and government.
To find a NVQ course, please see the attachments below which show the NVQ level, the course and the centre name, address and telephone number.
S/NVQs use National Occupational Standards (NOS) against which performance and competency in a particular occupation are assessed.
Students completing the CIOB Level 3 or 4 qualifications can progress towards the relevant S/NVQ.
Completion of S/NVQ programmes will be recognised by the Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS).
CIOB recognise National and Scottish Vocational Qualifications at Levels 3, 4 and 5 through the Construction Vocational Group, a joint awarding body consisting of Edexcel. CIOB and ICE (Institution of Civil Engineers), along with associate partners, CIAT (Chartered Institute of Architectural Technicians) and COTAC (Confederation on Training in Architectural Conservation).
