"Without Research and Innovation there is no progress. Without progress you stagnate and become a loser"

Sir Frank Lampl FCIOB, Honorary Life President of Bovis Lend Lease and Guest Speaker for the 2008/ 09 Awards Ceremony.

Every year, submissions for the Chartered Institute of Building’s International Innovation & Research Awards get better and better, enhancing the reputation and demonstrating the breadth of work in this field.

Entrants clearly demonstrate themselves to be at the forefront of excellence and innovative working and the Awards bring together practitioners, education and training providers and policy-makers in a unique way that supports the development and implementation of new ideas and methods.

The Awards Dinner is a celebration of that achievement and a true reflection of the thinking and practice that continues to move this industry forward. Howard Shiplee, Director of Construction for the Olympic Delivery Authority was the guest speaker for the 2007/ 08 awards ceremony.
