University Research Scholarship
The University Research Scholarship was established in 2003 in conjunction with the Worshipful Company of Constructors. The scholarship is currently being piloted in association with the University of Reading which was involved from its inception
The aim of the scholarship is to stimulate the production of good quality, vocationally significant and practical research, which will ultimately benefit the construction industry. The scholarship provides the necessary financial support to a post-graduate student for the purpose of undertaking research which may be required for completion of a dissertation or thesis.
The Worshipful Company of Constructors
The Worshipful Company of Constructors was founded as the Company of Builders in 1976 and received its Grant of Livery and its current title in 1990. The Constructors’ Company embraces professionals from all parts of construction, as well as those, like lawyers and accountants, who work with the industry. Members of the Court personally assist scholars and representatives of scholars’ employers right through the scholarship process.
