A beautiful example of Gothic architecture, constructed in its present form in 1085, Lichfield Cathedral has survived through some of England's most destructive phases, but managed to retain many original features - Norman and Gothic - which reflect its long history.
The building and its contents have been renovated sensitively throughout all periods of architecture; the latest major works being carried out from 1982.
Visit this fine example of architecture and have a guided tour around the building and its roof area.
