Cornwall County Council are working to secure a CAA licence for Newquay Airport to ensure the continuity of civilian flying beyond late 2008. This visit will explain in some detail what has to be achieved in the timescale. We have managed to arrange a site visit to this exciting project on Thursday 17 July at 6pm.
The format of the visit will be as follows:
· Introduction in the compound offices
· 1-1.5 hour tour of the airfield
· Drinks and questions
PPE will be required, namely safety boots, reflective jackets and safety helmets.
Vehicles can park in the compound provided registration numbers are supplied in advance. Places will be strictly limited so please book early to avoid disappointment providing your car registration number if you intend to take your vehicle. All replies must be received by 30 June.
