Why should I attend?
The Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) supports, and participates in, a number of major exhibitions throughout the year, across the UK, Ireland and overseas. They are designed to be engaging and informative events, providing an overview of advances throughout the industry.
What will I achieve?
Exhibitions are an opportunity to see the latest innovations on the market, covering every aspect of construction. Typical focus areas include recruitment, sustainability, specific building initiatives and much more. Many exhibitors launch new products or initiatives at the shows, providing visitors with inspiration for current and future projects. It is also a chance to connect with the wider industry and receive technical advice from exhibiting companies.
What can I expect?
Exhibitions are highly interactive events, offering a stimulating mix of forums, demonstrations, workshops and short seminars covering a huge variety of topics. Some exhibitions are part of larger events, running alongside a conference and an awards programme for example. The exhibitions take an informal approach and are a good opportunity to network with current suppliers and build new contacts.
Who should attend?
Exhibitions are open to members and non-members. Attendees come from a wide range of backgrounds, such as specifiers, contractors, end users and clients.
