Health and Safety

The CIOB has a strong stance on health and safety issues in the construction industry. The CIOB aims to further raise its profile, taking positive steps towards improving health standards and preventing injuries.

The Health and Safety pages of the CIOB's website provide all the latest construction health and safety news, as well as several valuable resources for those working in the industry.

The CIOB published research into Health and Safety in the Construction Industry in 2009. The report explores health and safety culture, occupational stress, CDM2007, temporary works and crane safety. The results of our follow up survey from summer 2011 will be available soon.
