Experienced Practitioner Assessed (EPA) Programme 2010 - Learning Resources

This page contains the course information for the Experienced Practitioner Assessed (EPA) programme 2010, which commenced in September 2009 and concludes in December 2010. 

Candidates must demonstrate their experience and competence by passing the EPA Part A assessment before commencing the EPA Part B examination and assignment programme.  Current CIOB Associate membership does not exempt this requirement.

The attached Scenario, Appendix A and Appendix B:  XP/10/P and Drawing Numbers:  XP/10/A to XP/10/H relate to the complete EPA 2010 suite of examinations and assignments.

Please note:  The drawings are to a scale as indicated on each drawing if printed at A3 size.

The EPA 2010 programme comprises of two cycles of assignments and examinations.


First Cycle - commenced September 2009 - completed February 2010

The closing date for submission of the first cycle of assignments for the EPA 2010 Construction Technology and Health, Safety and the Environment modules was 28 February 2010.  

The closing date for submission of applications for the EPA 2010 first cycle (June) examinations for the Management and Contract and Commercial Practice modules was 28 February 2010.


Second Cycle - commencing March 2010

The second cycle of assignments for the EPA 2010 Construction Technology and Health, Safety and the Environment modules are attached below. The completed assignments must be submitted to the CIOB, together with the second cycle EPA Part B application form, module fees and required documentation, by 30 September 2010.

Applications for the second cycle EPA 2010 (November) examinations for the Management and Contract and Commercial Practice modules must be submitted to the CIOB, together with the second cycle EPA Part B application form, module fees and required documentation, by 30 September 2010.
