Application Criteria

Please read the important information below before you begin your application process for CIOB student membership:

To apply to become a student member of The Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) you must be engaged in a course of general building studies recognised by the CIOB.

FREE Student Membership is available for up to 4 years to all students engaged in full time education.

All other applicants will be required to pay an annual student membership subscription fee of £21.00

Please be aware that Students on the following courses will have to pay a registration fee of £65.00 (in addition to the annual subscription):      

Certificate and Diploma in Site Management (C/D SM)

Certificate in Site Supervisory Students (CSSS)

To apply you will need to provide the following information:

Course Type, e.g. Certificate and Diploma in Site Management or Certificate in Site Supervisory Studies / NVQ / Other

Full Title of Course

Duration of Course

Course Start Date

Expected Course End Date

College / University Name

Name and Address of your employer (if not a full-time student)

Credit / Debit Card Details for Payment if applicable
