MARSHALLS SITE VISIT

On Tuesday 14th February, members attended a site visit organised by the Tees Valley Centre to Marshalls at Eaglescliffe near Stockton-on-Tees.
The presentation provided an interesting insight into the history of Marshalls, information including technical details of some of their sustainable products, ethical trading with quarries in India and initiatives such as a design competition with local schools. Turning a pupils design into the actual bollard used on his school.
Due to the success of this visit it is hoped to arrange other visits and CPD events with Marshalls in the future.
