Another first for the North East

At their annual AGM on Wednesday 9th April 2008 which was held at the Ramside Hall Country Hotel and golf club, the North East Branch took a step nearer in delivering its vision for the future by retaining their current Chair Richard Humphrey, for an unprecedented continuous third term.
This demonstrates committee member’s trust in Richards’s leadership to take them forward, a decision which had to be ratified by the President.
Committee and members unanimously decided that if the team were to consolidate the past two years success achieved during Richards term in chair, and embed the succession plan to deliver continuity and consistency in their local business plan, Richard should undertake a mentoring and transitional role throughout this term.
Richard commented, I am delighted, proud and privileged to continue to work with the team of professionals at Branch. We have made some bold and exciting moves and the future for CIOB North east has been extremely well planned with strong strategic thinking at the heart of what we intend to do for our members.
