In 1992 a small number of local CIOB members founded the North Western Group which in 1998 officially attained Centre status. Allan McMullan Past President CIOB has been a strong supporter since it’s inception until present. It was therefore fitting that he presented the medals to the following Past Chairs of the North Western Centre:

It is also fitting at this point to recognise the services of: Joe White (deceased); Martin Dolan and Sam McLaughlin for their work as Chairs of the former Group in establishing the need and growth of CIOB membership in the North West of Ireland to the strong and active Centre it is today.
