The HSE has issued a new scaffolding information sheet covering design and inspection and discussing competence and supervision issues. A useful reference for site managers.

There is also a section examining the qualifications needed to inspect scaffolds and the records that should be kept. It then analyses scaffolding structures that need to be designed - this is useful for the site manager and the CDM-C for on-going designer works as the contract proceeds.
