The Chartered Institute of Building Norfolk Centre played an active part at the event providing information to people interested in working in the construction industry.
The event brought together a wide spectrum of organisations involved in the industry including local employers, main contractors and professional bodies together with training and support organisations.
They were all ready to talk prospective entrants into joining the construction industry including young people approaching school leaving age, adults considering a career change, undergraduates and recent graduates.
The event was coordinated by Build Norfolk, an award winning network led by NPS Property Consultants Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Norfolk County Council. The network promotes careers in construction and helps small construction businesses improve to win more contracts.
The CIOB Norfolk Centre will again be working with Build Norfolk at the Construction Marketplace event in Norwich on 6th November 2008.
