Carl Studd, Contracts Manager at Barnes Construction, presented the CIOB Award to Jacqueline Silverton at the first graduation ceremony for University Campus Suffolk Bury St Edmunds which took place in St Edmundsbury Cathedral at the end of September.

Jacquie was named as the best Professional Construction Student at UCS Bury St Edmunds. She was one of seven prize winning Higher Education students whose achievements were particularly praiseworthy.

Jacquie, who lives in Debenham, studied a total of 11 modules during her first year, achieving Distinction grades in most. This was an outstanding achievement, reflecting her dedication to study.

At the same time, Jacquie also bought and renovated a new home as well as managing her own property development company, Silverton Property Services, and coping with a young family.

Jacquie always maintained the high standards she set for herself, and is a very worthy winner of this prize.
