New Construction Manager website invites members’ comment
Wednesday, January 27, 2010
Following its relaunch at the end of 2009, Construction Manager magazine now has a brand new website. The site, which launched last week at http://construction-manager.co.uk, offers a host of reasons to visit.
Join the debate
The site is the place to go to vote in the CM readers’ poll. This month, CM asks ‘Do you think there will be a change of government in 2010?’ Vote now and find out whether your CIOB colleagues share your opinion.
The site also allows you to express your views on news and features published in CM. Use the ‘comment’ function provided with all the key stories to join the debate.
This month, for example, CIOB past president John Bale introduces the Institute’s current work to define construction management. Can the Institute develop a definition that all members feel comfortable with – and how will a new definition benefit the CIOB? Read his article and then put your views forward.

To coincide with the site’s launch, CM is offering members the chance to sign up for its weekly news review. Each week the CM news review delivers a summary of the key stories covered by the industry’s magazines directly to your inbox. Sign up before 22 February and you could be one of five site visitors to win £50 of M&S vouchers*.
More reasons to visit
The CM site also offers a number of other new features:
- a digital edition of each new issue of CM puts the magazine at your fingertips, wherever you are
- a powerful new search tool provides easy access to the site’s growing library of articles and information
- from mid January, the Contact gallery will display photographs from CIOB events submitted to Contact newsletter.
