Overview
Welcome to the Birmingham Centre Web Page. My name is Gordon Wright and I'm delighted to have been elected Chairman of the Birmingham Centre for the next 2 years.
We will meet regularly at my office in West Bromwich or Birmingham City University and all are welcome. Indeed I urge you to come along, see what we do, contribute to our discussions and hopefully be co-opted to the committee for your institute. Please contact Jo Webb our Centre Administrator for forthcoming dates.My manifesto for the next two years is quite simple, events, fewer meetings, effective meetings.
It's essential we provide a varied and interesting programme of events, addressing our members and industries interests. Reflecting the true worth of our membership. To this end I propose we prepare a rolling 12 month programme utilising as few meetings as possible. Sharing the work load to make each meeting as effective as possible.
So how can you contribute to your institute? Come to the events, Attend our committee meetings, send us your ideas for events via Jo Webb, above all participate it's your institute.
