	The offices of Urban Design - Site Visit 3 11 February 2010 This is the third visit for CIOB Birmingham to this project and will enable members to assess progress made since our previous visits. The £23 million, 18 month project will be completed in March 2010. Project specification encompasses state of the art chilled beams, (the largest array in the United Kingdom), intelligent building controls and a host of energy saving features.

An event which was supported by thirteen candidates who wished to be informed of the Professional Review (PR) procedures and processes to enable them to gain full corporate membership.

	BREEAM – An Idiots Guide Tuesday 27th January 2009 28 February 2009 CIOB linked with BRE to provide an insight into the challenges and drivers behind BREEAM and the Code for Sustainable Homes. The presentation was given by Gavin Hodgson who heads up BRE’s Code Consultancy Service.
	Hereford & Worcester Centre Quiz Night 25 November 2008 The Hereford & Worcester Centre ran an extremely successful quiz night on the 25th November. The venue, the Old Rectifying House in Worcester was the perfect location for an evening of fun, networking and 11 rounds of tortuous questioning from quiz master Andy Lewis.
18 November 2008	Building Regulation Changes event update With a mixture of enthusiasm, collaboration and a 20m extension lead, the CIOB event attendees overcame local power issues to hold the Building Regulations Update.
	Improving Performance and Managing Change 4 November 2008 An 'Improving Performance and Managing Change' seminar was held on November 4th at the Manor Hotel Meriden.
