23 February 2010	Conservation & Restoration conference On 10th February 2010, CIOB East Midlands held their first conference in Newark, dealing with the Conservation and Restoration of buildings.
23 February 2010	Health & Safety CPD event On 17th February, CIOB East Midlands presented an important CPD event about Health & Safety in the construction industry.
16 February 2010	Success Again - 4 More Members Pass Chartered Status! Thursday 11th Feb saw another group of CIOB members go and show what they are made of and pass their professional review.
15 February 2010	EcoTown CPD January 27th On 27th January we haeld a CPD event at Highpoint in Leicester regarding EcoTowns. Leicestershire had been subject to a proposal so it was interesting to hear the information put across by both sides - The "for" and the "against". The event was hosted by Junior Vice Clare Howe and our speaker was Kevin Feltham CC. Co-op declined to be present but Kevin was able to put forward all the arguements from the Co-op as to why they believed the proposal was worthy and Kevin then put forward the council and local's views.
19 January 2010	East Midlands Awards Dinner Launch Event The National Space Centre at Leicester was the venue for the launch of 2010's inaugaral Awards Dinner.
7 December 2009	Novus Networking Event The East Midlands branch of Novus held a highly successful social newtorking event at the Crowne Plaza hotel in Nottingham on 20th November 2009.
9 November 2009	Site Tour of LinACC Facility - Nottingham City Hospital On Wednesday 30th September, Simons Construction arranged a site tour for our members of the LinACC Facility currently under construction at Nottingham City Hospital. This is one of five current sites at the hospital procured under Joint Venture NEC version 2 Procure P21.
