East Midlands Branch AGM at Leicester Racecourse 200823 April 2008 On 16 April the East Midlands Branch held its AGM at Leicester Racecourse where Barry Grimes welcomed everyone to the meeting and said that a year ago he had been honoured to become the Chair of the East Midlands Branch. It has been a busy year for the region that have, as well as the CPD events, held their first Annual Dinner which was a great success. |

Breakfast Meetings in the East Midlands Sept/Oct 2007The East Midlands Branch has recently embarked on a series of Breakfast Meetings the first was held at Weston Favell, Northampton's, Quality Inn Hotel on 24th September and despite the Midlands gales of that morning a good attendance of 23 Members and new guests was recorded.

East Midlands CDM Update - LincolnThirty Five members and guests attended the presentation on CDM 2007 given by Principal Construction Inspector Mrs Pearson of the Health and Safety Executive Midlands’ Area. Mrs Pearson, a resident of Lincolnshire is responsible for the County areas of Lincolnshire, Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and Rutland (Thought she did stress that she was still looking for something to inspect in Rutland), running a team of 12 inspectors and technical inspectors. |
