	TRUSTEE REWARDS EXCELLENCE 19 January 2010 At a recent congregation for MSc students at Northumbria University, Richard Humphrey FCIOB (Trustee) awarded a certificate of excellence to Peter Lewis who achieved the highest grades on the joint accredited CIOB/RICS Distance Learning Masters in Building Surveying.
	Teesside University Building at Darlington Campus 23 November 2009 Wednesday 10th November saw over 30 members attend a presentation on the design submission for the New Teesside University Building at Darlington Campus due to open in 2011.
	Egger Site Visit 23 November 2009 On the 3 rd November 2009, eleven members of the North-East branch accepted an invitation from Egger UK to visit their plant at Hexham, Northumberland.

Tim and MAP team members, identified from speaking to various members and colleagues, that there are many members out there who haven’t yet progressed their membership - who should have? So why not give them a friendly nudge and encourage them to take the plunge?
	Live Capture & Re-use of Project Knowledge in Construction 23 November 2009 Senior Lecturers Dr Chika Udeaja and Richard Humphrey of Northumbria University were guest speakers at CIOB Tyneside Centre’s last CPD event, which was held on Wednesday 18th November. The topic was ‘The Live Capture and Re-Use of Project Knowledge in Construction’, a subject which was new to almost all of the attendees, who found the event thoroughly enjoyable and highly informative.
