	CIOB Scotland Awards Ceremony 2010 5 March 2010 The CIOB Scotland Annual Award Ceremony took place on Friday 5 March 2010 in Glasgow City Chambers. CIOB Scotland is most grateful to Glasgow City Council for their support which enabled the ceremony to take place in such a prestigious venue.
	CIOB Scotland Student Challenge 2010 11 February 2010 CIOB Scotland Branch held its 2010 Student Challenge at Perth Racecourse on Thursday 11 February 2010. Teams from Glasgow Caledonian University, Heriot Watt University, Inverness College and Metropolitan College participated in what was a very hard and close fought contest and we are delighted to announce that Heriot Watt University Team 1 were overall winners, Glasgow Caledonian teams came in second and third place.
2 September 2009	CIOB Scotland 175th Celebratory Dinner The Scottish Branch chose to celebrate the 175th Anniversary of the founding of the CIOB by inviting leaders of the construction industry to a dinner at the Balmoral Hotel in Edinburgh.
	Highlands & Islands Major Seminar - The Benefits of Low Carbon Building 30 April 2009 For the main event in the Highland & Islands Centre's yearly calendar we held a Seminar on the benefits of low carbon buildings.
	CIOB Scotland Annual Dinner - Friday 24th April 2009 24 April 2009 CIOB Scotland held its Annual Dinner at Glasgow Hilton Hotel on Friday 24 April 2009. The event, sponsored by Contract Scotland and CCG Ltd was a resounding success attracting 600 guests despite the current economic climate. Entertainment was provided by Fred MacAulay and John McKelvie.
	CIOB Scotland Student Challenge 2009 29 January 2009 CIOB Scotland Branch held its 2009 Student Challenge at Perth Racecourse on Wednesday 23 January. Despite the economic downturn CIOB Scotland Branch was fortunate to receive continued support and sponsorship from the following companies: Anderson Construction, Bancon Developments, CCG Ltd, Interserve, Mansell, Morrison Construction, NHBC, Reco Developments, Robertson Construction and Xircon.

	CIOB Scotland Annual Dinner - 24th April 2009 7 October 2008 Following the early sell out of the 2008 event, preparation for the CIOB Scotland Annual Dinner 2009 sponsored by Contract Scotland and CCG Ltd, is already well underway. We are delighted to confirm that Fred MacAulay, TV personality and John McKelvie, after dinner speaker will be providing the after dinner entertainment.
