Iain Ferriman MCIOB – Centre Chair
Following the 2010 Durham & Wearside AGM, Iain Ferriman MCIOB was elected to serve another term as Durham & Wearside Centre Chair.

	Iain has been involved with the CIOB since joining as a Student Member in 1996, when undertaking an ONC in Building Studies at New College Durham. Since then, Iain has progressed membership and has held ACIOB and ICIOB before achieving Chartered Status in December 2006. During this time, Iain also attained a HND in Building Studies at New College Durham, followed by an Honours Degree in Quantity Surveying and Masters in Advanced Commercial Property Law at University of Northumbria at Newcastle. Iain has been an active member of the Durham and Wearside Committee since 2007.

Having previously held commercial positions for a number of contractors and clients Iain is now working for Blake Newport, a national consultancy firm, as a Commercial and Contractual Consultant. Iain is contactable via email at iferriman@blakenewport.co.uk

Diane Thorpe - Centre Administrator

Diane Thorpe has recently joined the CIOB as Centre Administrator for the North East of England.

Diane has spent many years working as a Secretary in the Plant Hire and Engineering Sectors and most recently worked as a PA for a worldwide plant manufacturer, she has a good knowledge of the construction industry and is looking forward to a new challenge with the CIOB.

Andrew Finnon- Student Representative
	Andrew became a student representative for the CIOB in 2009 after completing a HND in construction at City of Sunderland College, and winning the CIOB north east student of the year award 2009. Andrew is currently employed as an Assistant Project Manager for Gentoo Construction working on a wide variety of projects from new build to refurbishment.
Andrew is currently studying a part time BSC (Hons) Building project management degree at Northumbria university and will be progressing his membership once the course is complete. Andrew can be contacted via andrew.finnon@gentoogroup.com
