Recently we enjoyed an informative visit to the Falmer stadium, to be the new home of Brighton and Hove Albion. The event was very popular and a good example of how a construction project should be managed. It was pleasing to be able to offer access to a large scale construction project, local to us, in such challenging economic times.

Another successful event demonstrated how members could
qualify as Chartered Environmentalists, I am sure this will be
a valuable and useful tool for our members.

It is with great pleasure that I can advise that our Centre has six Certificates of Distinction for the Experienced Practitioner
Assessed Programme to award. Naturally, I am proud of our
members accordingly.

In November we welcomed Nicholas Gould of Fenwick Elliott, a highly regarded construction lawyer. Nicholas informed us of current developments in construction law and there followed numerous questions and active participation from our members and the audience.

Going forward please do look through the details of events we have planned for the coming months. The information in this card is designed to give you a snap shot only, please do contact our Centre Administration for more details, and we look forward to seeing you during the course of the next few months. In particular please look out for our Annual Dinner at the Royal Pavilion, taking place on 29 April 2010.

Chartered Environmentalist Workshop & Professional Review Workshop

The courses were full with over 40 delegates attending and most of those who attended are going on to pursue either full membership or environmentalist status.
