I graduated from The University of Liverpool with an honours degree in Building Management & Technology in 1994 and my early career was spent working with a major international contracting organization who sponsored me through University. I then transferred to their European arm specialising in Construction Management where I gained my first experience of client-side project management. I have worked as a professional Project Manager since 1997, and with significant experience of management forms of contract, I have a key understanding of fast-track development allied with the flexibility to manage change whilst realising budgetary and programme constraints. |
I have has also worked with one of the largest concessions and associated services groups in the world, and my experience there enabled me to bring a full appreciation of the lifecycle considerations required to ensure that optimum design and cost solutions are selected. I have a particular interest in risk and value management, and am a professionally qualified facilitator. My aspirations in becoming Chair are to take the Centre on to a new level of integration with other disciplines and professional bodies in the region, to reflect industry developments in collaborative working; and to provide partnered property solutions to match client demand.
