Northern Centre
Overview
Welcome to the Northern Centre branch of the CIOB in Ireland.
The Northern Centre is one of five centres of the Irish Branch and covers the counties of Antrim, Armagh and Down. The main aims of the centre are to serve their members effectively and to actively promote the Institute in the North West region.
A committee is elected annually to conduct the business of the Northern Centre. The Centre Committee meets 6 times per year. All members are welcome to attend. The committee operates on a purely voluntary basis, and gives its time in pursuit of the policies and objectives of the Institute for the benefit of the public and members alike. Please refer to the events page for dates, venues and times.
The Northern centre committee organise CPD events, site visits and social outings on a regular basis giving members opportunities to fulfill their CPD obligations and to network. Watch out for notices on the centre events page. Please check our events page for details as they arise.

Construction students
The institutions offering construction related programmes in the Northern Centre area are: Southern Regional college, South Eastern Regional College, Northern Regional College, Belfast Metropolitan College and University of Ulster at Jordanstown. Students attending construction related courses in these institutions are encouraged to become student members of the Northern Centre.
