Overview

A message from the Staffordshire Centre Chair

Adam Cannon It is with great honour that I take on the role of Centre Chairman of the CIOB for the Staffordshire Centre for the third year in a row.

Having started my journey through college and day Release University it took seven years of hard work to achieve Membership. Having been selected to continue the role of Centre Chair, I am dedicated and committed to lifting the construction profile in Staffordshire and the West Midlands.

Our Centre has in excess of 500 members making up 19% of the total Branch membership, thus making it the second largest Centre within the West Midlands Branch.

However due to the geographical nature of Staffordshire, we have elected this year to work collaboratively with the Staffordshire Best Practice Club and Stoke College to ensure we have a good presence across the whole of Staffordshire.  This we believe is the best strategy for serving the membership of Staffordshire.

A full calender of events will be out shortly and your support in attending these events would be greatly appreciated.

Finally we are continually looking for new blood and if you think you have something to offer the Team or just wish to see what goes on then please do not hesitate to contact us for further information, as new members  are always welcome.

Adam Cannon, Staffordshire Centre Chair is available to answer any queries regarding your involvement with the Centre Team.  Please feel free to contact him on Tel: 07834 121123, or Email: adam.cannon@wates.co.uk

Jo Webb, Centre Administrator, is available to discuss any events advertised and helps co-ordinate and promote events that are being organised. You can contact Jo on Tel: 0845 070 6137, Post: PO Box 2586, Wolverhampton, WV10 7YL or Email: jrobinson@ciob.org.uk
