Western Centre
Overview
Welcome to the Western Centre of the CIOB in Ireland. The Western Centre is one of five centers of the Irish Branch and covers the counties of Clare, Galway, Limerick, Mayo and Roscommon.
The main aims of the centre are to serve their members effectively and to actively promote the Institute in the Western region.
A committee is elected annually to conduct the business of the Western Centre. The committee meets six times per year. All members are welcome to attend. Please refer to the events page for dates, venues and times.
The current Chair is Gerry McGrath, he may be contacted on email at gerry.mcgrath@pdbc.ie or on 087-2203969.
The committee operates on a voluntary basis, giving its time to promote the policies and objectives of the Institute for the benefit of other members and public alike.
Any member with suggestions, willing to serve a term on the committee, or wishing to offer their services are encouraged to contact the centre chair Gerry McGrath at: gerry.mcgrath@pdbc.ie, the CIOB branch manager karen.halligan@ciob.org or any member of the committee.
The Western centre committee organises CPD events, site visits and social outings on a regular basis giving members opportunities to fulfill their CPD obligations and to network. Watch out for notices on the centre events page. Please check our events page for details as they arise.

Priscila Giuriato has recently joined the CIOB as Centre Administrator for the Eastern, Western and Southern Centres in the Republic of Ireland. |
