West of Scotland Centre

I started out in the industry some 30 years ago as a bricklayer and progressed throught the ranks working on a variety of both small and multi national construction companies culminating in my current role as Project Manager.

It is a great privilege for me to be elected as CIOB West of Scotland Centre Chairman at the May AGM. My aim this year is to encourage as many new and existing members both young and old alike to attend the CPD events which will contribute substantially towards your CPD obligation and to highlight the benefits associated with being a memebr of CIOB.

The Office Bearers and Committee have brought together a very diverse CPD event programme for the forthcoming term. The CPD events are free of charge and enable networking amongst fellow like minded professionals of the Built Environment.

The CIOB West of Scotland Centre has always been about the members so it is your centre; therefore we would encourage feedback at every opportunity to enable the centre to plan for the future. I hope you will be able to attend some of the events being planned for this year and look forward personally to seeing you all there.
