Fees

The Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) offers a retired class of membership to all current member classes from Associate to Fellow providing they fall into both of the following categories:

• They are 60 years of age before 1st January of the subscription year.
• Also have retired from employment and your total earned income from Construction work does not exceed £15,000 pa.

Once your application has been approved you can remain in your current class of membership and continue to enjoy all the rights and privileges of your class, including the right to use your current designation.

RETIRED SUBSCRIPTION RATE 2012

If you wish to apply for the retired rate for 2012, please complete the application form below and return it with a cheque for £50.

The completed application form should reach the Institute by no later than 1 month from the date of download. A late application may result in membership being terminated unless the full annual subscription has been paid in full by the 29 February 2012.

The member remains liable for the full annual subscription which is due on the 1st January each year, until the application for the retired rate has been approved. Once approved the retired rate will be granted on a permanent basis. However, if your financial circumstances change, please contact the subscription department to arrange for a review.
